HQ version of Planktum's current background.

MasterPlanktum (otherwise known as BadAssEdits, MasterPranktum, etc.) is an editor of various sources. He is most commonly known as the creator of Angry Edit Critic. Aside from being an editor, his reviews mostly target horrible and cheaply made edits among YouTube. This can be comparable to TheDVDReview's ICBINR777!, in which he also reviews edits. However, MasterPlanktum is not a fan of bias in reviews. Slowly, others are bridging into reviewing, such as MizzouEdits2 and Legobucket/TheWetOnion's collaboration "Buzzkill Reviews" in response to Legobucket's retirement, and theunknownuser0's budding Edit Review series. MasterPlanktum mainly edits SpongeBob, his first being "Band Geeks" and his last current being "I Had An Accident". Quite recently, he edited a partion of the "Odd Jobs" epsiode from the Fairly Odd Parents, another Nickelodeon series.

The series first began with MasterPlanktum reviewing a edit made by VideoFreaks3. The episode was Squirrel Jokes. The introduction of the video featured a cover of the The AVGN theme song. This episode discussed the flaws in the edit, and how there was no effort in trying to correct them. For example, there was the trademark VF3 repeating of clips, objectional placement and sounds, the usual. This turned out to be a hit, and Planktum decided to continue this. The series is still going on today.

The series is like that basically. MasterPlanktum reviews a variety of edits from a hodgepodge of editors. He is not "angry" all the time, but most of the time. There can, and has, come the occasion where a good edit is found/ and requested. But most of the time, it's shitty ones. Unlike ICBINR777!!!, the series isn't biased and isn't focused on VideoFreaks3's flaws.
