EditorzRus (now editorzRuss) was a YouTube editor known primarily for his music edits, though SpongeBob edits are some of his more popular works.
This relatively young editor began his work in early July editing SpongeBob episodes, but turning his attention towards other exploitable matters, such as television commercials and pop music. The latter was currently the focus of his editing skills.
December 2011 suspension[edit | edit source]
On December 13th, 2011, editorzRuss was suspended due to copyright strikes from Viacom. Here is a short log of a conversation between assmennfiossa and editorzRuss in regards to this:
Assmennfiossa: "...Are you gonna return to editing?"
editorzRuss: "idk man i have other things to do"
In response to the suspension, assmennfiossa created an account specifically for the reupload of editorzRuss's work, which can be found here.
Retirement[edit | edit source]
On January 7, 2012, assmennfiossa had another conversation with editorzRuss via Facebook about whether or not he'll return to editing. Here is what was said:
assmennfiossa: "Soooo, I assume by now you've made the decision to quit editing."
editorzRuss: "Yes I thought about it for a long time and I really got sick of editing. Hearing the same sounds over and over just became old. Not to mention the editing community is overpopulated with a bunch of shitty editors. I also got tired of loosing all my subscribers because of Viacom."
Possible Return[edit | edit source]
In 2019, EditorzRus made a new account on YouTube, and indicated an interest in editing again.
